The USB Splitter Cable
Use the supplied USB Splitter Cable when you want to charge the battery on your XV6900, and at the same
time, use a standard 2.5mm stereo headset (sold separately) for hands-free conversation or for listening to
music.
1. Connect the USB Splitter Cable
to XV6900’s Sync connector.
2. Connect a 2.5mm stereo headset
(sold separately) to the splitter cable’s
audio jack.
3. Connect the AC adapter to
the splitter cable’s power
connector.
1.2 The Battery and the Storage Card
Your XV6900 contains a rechargeable Li-ion battery. It is designed to use only manufacturer-specified original
batteries and accessories. Battery performance depends on many factors, including network configuration,
signal strength, the temperature of the environment in which you operate your XV6900, the features and/or
settings you select and use, items attached to connecting ports, and your voice, data, and other program
usage patterns.
Battery life estimates (approximations):
Standby time: Up to 250 hours.
Talk time: Up to 3.5 hours.
Media playback time: Up to 8 hours for WMV; up to 12 hours for WMA.
Warning! To reduce risk of fire or burns:
Do not attempt to open, disassemble, or service the battery pack.
Do not crush, puncture, short external contacts, or dispose of in fire or water.
