TIRES
Pitch
and sawdust
that
accumulate on the tires
should be removed
with
a stiff
brush
or
scraped
off
with a
piece
of
wood. Do not use a sharp
knife
or
any
kind
of
solvent.
When
the
tires
become
worn
they
should
be
re-
placed.
When
replacing
the
tires,
put
a
thin
layer
of
rubber cement on the outside
of the
wheels
and inside of the
tires.
Allow
to
dry, then
slide
tires onto
wheels
aligning tires
inside
wheel
edges.
GENERAL
Keep
your
Band Saw clean.
Remove
sawdust
from
the
inside
frequently.
Do not allow
pitch
to
accumulate on
the table.

guides,
or thrust
bearings.
Clean them
with Craftsman
Gum and
Pitch
Remover.
Apply
a thin
coat of
automobile-type
wax
to
the
table
so
the
wood slides
easily
while cutting.

wax

vacuum
or
blow out
any
sawdust

rom
the
