THE CAMCORDER IS SET TO PHOTO MODE

THE CARD IS SET FOR ERASURE PREVENTION
- The LOCK switch on the SD or SDHC memory card is set to prevent accidental erasure. Change the position of
the LOCK switch.
THE MEMORY CARD COVER IS OPEN
- After inserting a memory card, close the memory card slot cover ( 28).

- Protected photos cannot be deleted. Cancel the protection setting before deleting.

- Disconnect the USB cable and decrease the number of photos on the memory card to fewer than 1,800.
If a dialog box appeared on the computer screen, close it. Disconnect the USB cable, and restore the
connection after a short while.

cannot be operated. Disconnecting the USB cable or power source while this message appears may result in
permanent loss of the recordings in the camcorder. Use the computer's Safely Remove Hardware function to
end the connection and disconnect the USB cable before using the camcorder.
